Eaton Chocolate

Eaton Chocolate

Eaton Chocolate is located on Hertel Ave and Parker. It has all kinds of chocolate, but I'm focusing on the ice cream today. Because most kids like ice cream. They have tons of flavors, all from Lake Effect Ice Cream. I had the Trick or Treat which is lots of candy put together in ice cream like M&M's, Butter Fingers and Kit Kat. Colin and Patrick had Frozen hot chocolate which is frozen hot chocolate with a hint of marshmallow flavor in it. Mom got Whiskey & Brown Sugar with Bacon, but she ordered hers without bacon. A drawback of it's location is its next to Checkers so all the smoke blows over so you can't really eat outside on their patio.

The pricing is as follows: Baby: $1.50; 1 Scoop:  $2.25; 3 scoop: $4.00: Hand Packed Pints: $5.25.

Papa Jake's

    Papa Jake's

    • Location: Elmwood near Great Arrow.
    •  2 Rooms, 1 is a bar with seats and booths. One has no bar but tables and booths. There are no kids sizes or kids menus. All drinks are in pint glasses. It was a nice atmosphere in the back room but there were people smoking outside, also the waitresses were very nice. My mom loves their fries, which were, I admit, very good.
    • If you went to Canisius  you will see the griffin on the booths and walls.
    • Buffalo Kid: Drink: Ginger Ale, Food: Blue Cheese Burger. It was very good, the blue cheese was melted on top which I did not expect.
    • Colin:Food: Barbeque Ribs. He thought the sauce was not pleasant, not smoked, not baked for long.
    • Mom: Drink: Diet Coke, Food: A cheese burger with American Cheese. She said it was "cooked to perfection", and "on a Costanzos role."
    • Dad: Food: Beef and Cheddar Sandwich. He said " It was good, but if I had to do it again I would just get a beef on weck."
    • Patch: Drink: Pink Lemonade,Food: Half of my Mother's Burger.
    •  Total price for all 5 of us $62.30.
    • I thought the food was good and so did my family, I thought it was a good restaurant to go to. But if you want ribs go to an actual barbeque place.

Santasiero's-Same family serving Buffalo sence 1921

Santasiero's has been owned by the same family since 1921. Proudly serving Buffalo for 5 generations.

    Menu's

Menu's are enlarged on the wall with individual posters of extras around them. There are three rooms the front room with a bar and TV's. The back room with TV's. And a smaller side room with out TV's.

It is located on Niagara and Lafayette.

I had a Half order of Ravioli with a meatball. The sauce was very good and I'm pretty sure the ravioli was home made. I didn't get a chance to ask.I had birch beer as my drink, it was $2.25 for a large plus one refill.

Dad got Half a Spaghetti Parmesan. He said it was very good but could have had more sauce. We also had complementary bread and butter. Dad bought Garlic Bread for the table.

Mom got Half Spaghetti with a Meatball and Mushroom Sauce. My mom said it was what she calls West Side sauce, it means it was good.
Patrick only had Wedding Soup It was a small serving size. He said it was good. It is his favorite kind of soup.

Colin had a Chili in a Cup and Goulash which he barely ate any of.  He loved the Chili but the goulash was dry. Mom said because it was baked.

    They have nice staff also.
A very good dinner all in all.
    Total: 69.60 and 20.00 tip.

    Olive Garden, Dearborn MI

Over the weekend I went to Dearborn MI for my cousins wedding. While at our hotel we went to Olive Garden due to its close proximity to the hotel and our lack of a car since we flew. It was very nice inside, but a 30 minute wait. they give you a buzzer with a number on it for when your table is ready. I believe the theme is Tuscany, and the plants inside, though they look fake, are real. They also have complementary Breadsticks with dip at aditional cost if you want it. I had a Parmesan Crusted Tilapia, a fish, with chicken gnocchi soup. Gnocchi is Potato Dumplings. The tilapia was very good it had assorted vegetables like squash and zucchini. My Mother had Mixed Grill or Chicken steak kabob with vegetables. It looked like everything that fell off of the grill. For example steak and chicken. My brother Colin had Pasta with Tomato sauce. He ate barely any of it,but hardly eats anything anyway. Dad had Tour of Italy which is lasagna, chicken Parmesan and Fedichini Alfredo. His exact words were,"It was awful. It was clearly precooked and then warmed up." the pasta was crunchy and crusty and the chicken was overcooked and inedible. Did I mention he hates Olive Garden? My little brother Patrick had Ravioli with broccoli, that he never got,on the side and chocolate milk. All in all my family, except me, hated it. The grand expensive total was....$113.34 dollars. My father said it was a complete and utter waist of money.

    Red White and Blueberry cheesecake

A recipe I got from Allrecipes.com Ingredients 8 sheets phyllo dough 1/4 cup butter, melted 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese 1/2 cup white sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 eggs 2 cups fresh blueberries 1/2 cup strawberry jelly 1 cup heavy cream, whipped (optional) Directions Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). On a flat surface, place one sheet of phyllo dough. Brush it with melted butter, and cover with another piece of phyllo. Repeat until all 8 sheets are used. Using kitchen scissors, cut layered phyllo into a 12- to 13-inch circle. Carefully press circle into a greased 9-inch pie plate; gently fan edges. Bake in preheated oven until edges are just golden, 6 to 8 minutes; cool slightly on a wire rack. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs until well combined. Fold in 1 cup of blueberries. Pour filling into prepared crust. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until set, 40 to 50 minutes. To prevent the crust from over-browning, gently cover pie with foil for the last 25 minutes of baking. Cool completely on a wire rack. In a small bowl, beat jelly until smooth; spread over cheese filling. Arrange 1 cup blueberries on top in a star pattern. Wellington Pub

The Wellington Pub is located on Hertel between Parkside and Wellington.
The kid in the picture IS NOT me, it is my brother. My brother Colin had BB-Q Wings. Since it was wing night, a special where all wings are 40 cents off. My Mother got 10 wings, and my Father got 10 wings. My mother and Father both got small Caesar salads with the wings. The salads were properly dressed but the dressing was a bit tangy. They give it a 3 out of 5. I had a BB-Q bacon blue cheese Burger.( hold the BB-Q)It is very big and i have eaten all of it every time.
I love the burger and get it almost every time I go there. The Monster Burger in the picture is on a costanzo's roll.
The Wellington Pub has 6 TVs 3 in the bar, 2 in the main dining room, and 1 in the Party/extra seating room. There is patio seating, and if you have a little one they have high chairs. I must say though, it is one of my favorite restaurants, but there is a bit of a wait. Rating 4 and a half of 5.
